The current cloud which has besieged Britney Spears is threatening to further darken her horizon.

A Family Court in Los Angeles has withdrawn custodial rights of Spears’ two sons, Sean Preston (aged 2) and Jayden James (aged 1) from her. The court has also withdrawn her visitation rights until further notice thus stopping her from seeing her children.

Actually, her visitation rights had been curtailed since October last year. But she was permitted to have ‘monitored’ visits thrice a week. The current situation arose on a visit from her children on the 3rd of this month when police was called in to her residence to force her to part with them.

After the police resolved the situation she was taken to the Cedars Sinai Hospital, Los Angeles and admitted as a ’special needs’ patient. Officials from the force believed that she was semi-conscious and seemed to be under the influence of a substance that’s yet to be identified. Press shots taken while she was being transferred to the hospital show her staring out with a blank expression and seemingly oblivious of the situation around her. At the hospital, she was placed under close observation after checking in.

Meanwhile, the courts have also handed over the custody of the children to her ex-husband Kevin Federline by transferring ’sole legal and physical’ rights over to him.

A hearing has now been set for the 14th of this month.
